Letters from Home.
A reflection on migration and longing.
Heavily inspired by vintage Philippine postage stamps, these paintings explore the deeply emotional ways our culture can travel with us across vast distances and time. These native fruits- Mangoes, calamansi, rambutan… are not just familiar objects, but reminders of home. It’s my aim with these pieces to encapsulate the ways our identity is lovingly preserved and tend to the quiet ache of home sicknesses.
