Sweet Dreams.

My body of work reflects on the emotional climate of childhood through the lens of adulthood. Saturated with pastel rainbow hues and the playful imagery of iced gem biscuits and a reimagined rendition of the banana split ice cream from The Spongebob Squarepants Movie. With the use of nostalgic comforts, my works explore the innocent joys of childhood and how we all place such significance on small pleasures. These paintings become a form of warm escapism to our childhoods, where small pockets of joy were found in the simplest of things.
